Itinerary

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Board a chartered Airbus H125 helicopter from Kathmandu Airport, flying west past the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Touch down at the Dhorpatan valley helipad (2,860 m). Register permits with Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve forest officials and park military posts. Meet your local team of Sherpa mountain guides, camp cooks, and native trackers. Spend the afternoon acclimatizing and test-firing hunting rifles at the designated sighting range.

Day 2

Depart Dhorpatan valley with your porter and mule support train, ascending steep forested trails through oak, fir, and rhododendron forests into your designated hunting block (e.g., Gustung, Barse, Seng, or Dogadi). Climb above the tree line into the alpine grasslands and set up a fully equipped base camp with heated dining tents, individual sleeping tents, and solar charging stations.
