Mohare Danda Trek 5 Days

The 5-Day Mohare Danda Trek is a pristine, community-based eco-trail in the southern Annapurna foothills. Championed by Ramon Magsaysay award winner Mahabir Pun, this quiet alternative to the crowded Poon Hill circuit directly benefits local Magar village schools and wireless community networks. Ascending through organic farmland, paper-making workshops, and moss-covered rhododendron forests, the trail leads onto the open ridge crest of Mohare Danda (3,320 m). The summit delivers an unblocked, 360-degree sunrise spectacle spanning the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu massifs, followed by a descent through the traditional hamlets of Swanta and Ghorepani.
